California Springfest Selects New Venue for 2019

The California Equine Foundation is pleased to announce that the 2019 California Springfest Horse Show will be held April 18 through 21 at the Murieta Equestrian Center in Rancho Murieta, California, just a short distance from Sacramento. Located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, the picturesque setting offers exhibitors a beautiful covered show arena, covered warm up, matted stalls, plumbed permanent rest rooms and showers and a permanent food concession.
The show arena measures 255’ x 121’, with abundant general seating and an intimate VIP area. The retail store, Cares and Whoas, operates inside the building offering unique, equestrian-inspired styles for your wardrobe or home interior. The adjacent warm up arena measures 105’ x 250’. Plenty of RV hook-ups are available as well as RV Rentals and Golf Cart Rentals.
California Springfest will offer classes for American Saddlebred Horses, Morgan Horses, Hackney Ponies, Roadsters, and Saddle Seat Equitation, as well as all-breed Carriage Pleasure Driving and English and Western Pleasure.
The recently completed Murieta Inn and Spa is just steps away, offering luxury accommodations at favorable prices to horse show exhibitors. The hotel offers an on-site restaurant and bar, spa, fitness center and swimming pool. Other chain hotels and motels are available within 15 minutes to the grounds, many of which offer special rates to Murieta exhibitors.
The area offers many other amenities, including both casual and fine dining, shopping, golf and tennis, ballooning, biking, wine tasting and much more. The Murieta Equestrian Center is about 39 miles from Sacramento International Airport and just 3 minutes from the Rancho Murieta Airport.
