Buy Your Next Breeding Service With Fringe Benefits!

Looking for more than just a pretty blue bucket for your breeding dollar? Shop for your 2012 stallion service in the AMHA/World Morgan Futurity Stallion Service Auction!

Not only will you have a terrific selection of top breeding stallions from all over the country, but you’ll select from an impressive list of proven sires from every discipline—park, pleasure, western, hunter, driving and sport.

There are many reasons to be the last bidder on a AMHA/World Morgan Futurity stallion in 2012. First and foremost, we need to get the market going again by bringing some wonderful Morgan foals into the world next spring.

Second, the proceeds of this auction go to help EVERYONE that has Morgan Horses. AMHA uses their portion of the proceeds for Marketing and Promotion to benefit all Morgan owners and breeders, as well as dividends to the Regional and class A shows. The World Morgan Futurity uses their portion to give money back to Morgan breeders at this year’s Grand National and World Championship Morgan Horse Show.

Not only is this money given back to the Futurity horses that win their classes at OKC, but their sires win money, their dams win money, and even the trainers get a bit of the jackpot. This is in addition to the regular already generous World Futurity Jackpots! This special program is called Auction Rewards. The way it works is simple.

If you have the winning bid for one of the stallions at the AMHA/World Morgan Futurity stallion service auction, that resulting foal will be eligible for Auction Rewards of $10,000 if they win their World Futurity yearling class in 2013. If more than one 2012 foal wins, they share this reward. If no 2012 foal is shown or wins, the money is carried over to their two year old year.

This program began in 2007 with the offspring that resulted from the stallion services sold for that year. Since none of those foals won a Futurity class as a yearling or a two year old, they were still eligible for this bonus as three year olds, where the impressive young stallion Stand In Tribute took home the prize for his owners and trainer.

So choose your stallion at www.morganhorse.com, win the bid, breed your mare, nominate that resulting foal to the WMF as a weanling, then in 2013 you will have a youngster eligible for this $10,000 bonus at the 2014 Grand National and World Championship Morgan horse Show!

The stallions with the top 10 highest bids move on to the live auction during the annual convention in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 7:30 pm, and all remaining contracts will be sold to the highest bidder as of 4:00 PM EST on Friday, March 2, 2012. All telephone bidders must register prior to the live auction. To register, please call the AMHA office at 802-985-4944 before 4:00 pm EST, Friday, March 2, 2012. To register by phone the day of the auction, March 3, call 802-578-5716 any time before 7:00 pm EST.
