Bruce Milligan Passes Away

John Bruce Milligan III, 47, joined our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 8, 2013.

Born in Milwaukee, WI on March 16, 1965 to John Bruce Milligan Jr. and Barbara Ann Milligan, Bruce lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed having lived many places and experiencing many things. He dedicated most of his life to the care and training of horses including Arabians, National Show Horses, Saddlebreds and Polo ponies. Bruce was a member of the Arabian Horse Association, American Saddlebred Horse Association, USEF and the United States Polo Association. He was smart, handsome, funny, caring and very Republican! Bruce loved life, people, animals and most importantly his family and numerous friends. He never met a stranger and felt it was an honor to have met so many good people and made so many truly great friends. He would want us all to celebrate his life and not mourn his departure. We will honor Bruce the way he would have wanted us to - by living and loving each and every day to its fullest with no holds barred! For his family and friends, a Celebration of Bruce will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 3 - 7 p.m. at The Bellewood, 1116 Bellewood Road, Anchorage, KY, 40223. He will be greatly missed by his father, Bruce Milligan Jr. and wife Pam; mother, Barbara Milligan; sisters, Kammie Gammeter (Scott) and Melissa Milligan; nephew, Blake Gammeter; special friend, Karin Folkers and countless other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Saddlebred Rescue "In Memory of John Bruce Milligan III" at www.saddlebredrescue.com.
