Broadmoor Holiday Party

Mike Goebig and Dwayne Knowles, owners/trainers of Broadmoor in Kutztown, Pa., hosted their annual Christmas Party on Dec. 2, 2006. Each year, Goebig and Knowles open their home to clients and support staff to thank them for their help and care for their barn full of Morgan horses. It’s also a fun time to share with family and friends.
Once again, Knowles did an outstanding job of decorating their home as well as the barn aisle, individual stall doors and tack room. For the 10th year, Lee Gribbons provided a delicious feast for all to enjoy. As the party came to a close, an energetic group of 11 friends decided to keep the festive spirit going and headed out to a dance club in nearby Allentown.
More than 70 people shared in the holiday festivities. Kathy Gutting traveled the farthest from the north, Tony Lee was the southernmost guest and Kelly Nadler, former Broadmoor summer intern and William Woods student, had the longest plane flight from the west.
Despite a nasty storm in the Midwest, many clients were able to get to the barn a few days ahead of time to watch their young horses work.
