Brannon Stables Suffers Tragic Fire

A barn fire Sunday morning at Brannon Stables, Georgetown, Kentucky, resulted in the loss of a reported 25 horses. Established in the ‘70s by the late Sam Brannon and his wife Marie, Brannon Stables has been run by Marie, their daughter Nancy Brannon, and John Mckeown for the past several years. They had a strong riding and youth program, getting several people started with American Saddlebreds.
