Blue Ridge Classic Receives Accolades for 2012 Show

The Blue Ridge Classic was recently honored as the 2012 UPHA National Show of the Year at the UPHA National Convention in Las Vegas. In addition, the United States Equestrian Federation announced Blue Ridge as the “My USEF Favorite Breed Competition” winner for the third year in a row. The USEF competition was designed to let members vote for their favorite breed competition while awarding and promoting USEF licensed breed competitions that ran a show so well that exhibitors wanted to call it their favorite. The contest also gives exhibitors the opportunity to provide detailed feedback about the competitions to USEF.

“These recognitions are especially meaningful to me, as we strive to roll out the red carpet for our exhibitors,” Show Manager Elizabeth Holmes said. “The trainers and exhibitors are the reason we strive for a successful show each year. Our competition, hospitality, and location make Blue Ridge a top horse show destination. Thank you for taking the time to vote!”

The 2013 Blue Ridge Classic Horse Show will be held July 23-27 and will feature American Saddlebreds, Morgans, Friesians, Hackneys and Roadsters at the Western North Carolina Agriculture Center in Fletcher, NC.
