Blue Ridge Classic Named 2010 USEF Favorite Breed Competition

January 18, 2011 – The United States Equestrian Federation announced the "My USEF Favorite Breed Competition" contest in 2009, which was designed to let members vote for their favorite breed competition while awarding and promoting USEF licensed breed competitions that ran a show so well that exhibitors wanted to call it their favorite. The contest also gives exhibitors the opportunity to provide detailed feedback about the competitions to USEF.

The 2010 Blue Ridge Classic Horse Show was awarded for the Saddlebred breed division for efforts in making the show a special event for exhibitors while holding a USEF licensed competition. Also selected as the Grand Prize winner in a random drawing from the list of winners, USEF will provide a pizza party at the 2011 Blue Ridge Classic Horse Show. "This recognition is especially meaningful since it comes from the exhibitors," Show Manager Liz Holmes said. "The exhibitors are the reason we strive for a successful show each year. Thank you for taking the time to vote!"

The 2011 Blue Ridge Classic Horse Show will be held July 26-30 and will feature American Saddlebreds, Morgans, Friesians, Hackneys and Roadsters at the Western North Carolina Agriculture Center in Fletcher, NC.
