Birth Announcement – Grant James Berry

Lauren Mathewson Berry and Ryan Berry welcomed son Grant James Berry Wednesday November 3, 2021. Lauren is the niece of well-known Saddlebred, Friesian and Hackney pony exhibitor Karen Frickey and she too showed Hackney ponies for her aunt’s Frickey Farm.
She drove Razzle Dazzle Me to numerous wins including the 2005 Junior Exhibitor Hackney Pleasure Pony Driving World’s Champion of Champions and world’s championship titles. Catch Me If You Can was the Junior Exhibitor Roadster Pony 14-17 Sec. II Reserve World’s Champion in 2007 and in 2008 they were reserve at Louisville in the section one qualifier.
Catch Me If You Can and Lauren moved to the Adult Hackney Pleasure Driving Pony division in 2010 and in addition to wins at several shows, they were the World’s Champion of Champions.
CH Extremely Supreme and Lauren teamed up in 2011 and had wins in the adult Hackney pleasure driving pony division at Rock Creek, Shelby County Fair, Mercer County Fair and Shelbyville.
Lauren, Ryan and Grant Berry reside in Jacksonville, Florida.
