Bill Thompson Recovering

Posted May 8, 2002 Bill Thompson, former owner of Saddle and Bridle magazine, and father to current owners Jeff and Chris Thompson, was brutally beaten and robbed in his home on Monday, April 29. Despite serious injury, Thompson has made remarkable steps on his road to recovery.
He has begun physical therapy and while he is still sluggish and confused over the incident (which he doesn’t have any recollection of), he is up a little and able to eat a bit on his own.
In his unit of St. John Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, he is not able to have visitors, phone calls or flowers. Updates regarding his status can be found via Saddle and Bridle’s website. The family has requested donations be made to his retired horse farm through www.fieldstonefoundation.org in lieu of flowers.
Four people were arrested for this crime and they are currently in custody.
