Beloved Dabora Family Member Passes – Sally Carver

The Saddle Horse Report and Horse World staffs are saddened by the passing of our longtime family member, Sally Carver, at the age of 86. As only she could do, Sally faced some medical issues head on over the past year.
For those of you, including our competitors, that use the Saddle Horse Report website for the most accurate results database in the industry, that was Sally. No one had a knack for accuracy or sensing a red flag if information didn’t feel right than Sally. Every placing, every sire and dam mattered.
First and foremost, she was a horsewoman with a wealth of knowledge that was paralleled by a passion for the horses and the people in the business. You never had to guess what she was thinking and her humor could light up a Christmas tree.
At this time there aren’t any details as far as a service. We will update our readers – her dear friends – as plans are made. There will be a tribute story to Sally in the first issue of 2023.
