Auto accident claims lives of 2 Grass Valley, CA Morgan owners

Michelle Desiano and husband Art Baker were killed in a head-on collision on Highway 49 near the city of Grass Valley.
Morgan friends in Northern California are shocked with the news. Michelle and Art had many friends in the Morgan "community" as they have been so active in many areas of Morgan horse activities. Friends in the area are scrambling to take care of the livestock and caring for other animals, making funeral arrangements, etc.
As quoted from the (Sun) SACRAMENTO BEE-
"The victims, a 76-year-old man and a 56 year-old-woman, were traveling north near Crestview Drive at 3:50p.m. when their vehicle, a 2002 Cadillac Escalade, swerved across the center line and hit a 1996 Toyota 4Runner, CHP Sgt. Dee Lavrador said.
”The man died at the scene. The woman was taken to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead."
"The 42-yr old Penn Valley woman who was driving the 4Runner is in the hospital with major injuries but is expected to survive."
