$5,000 ASR Grand National Class Awarded to Pin Oak Charity Horse Show

The Pin Oak Charity Horse Show has been awarded one of the $5,000 ASR Grand National Classes. The class will be the ASB Five-Gaited Open Championship. In addition, the ASB Five-Gaited Open Championship is a $5,000 class, the ASB Three-Gaited Open Championship is a $3,000 class, and $1,500 will be awarded for both the ASB Fine Harness Championship and the ASB Show Pleasure Championship.
Also scheduled as “regular” $1,800 ASR Grand National classes are the Three-Gaited Show Pleasure Championship and Three-Gaited Park Full Mane/Tail Amateur Championship.
Liz McBride Jones will judge. A travel incentive of $1,000 will be given to the barn that travels the furthest distance with four or more horses. The reward doubles if the barn is outside Texas, Louisiana or Oklahoma.
