ASR Futurities Grace Period Deadline Is Monday

The grace period deadline for the ASR Kentucky Amateur, Kentucky and National Three-Year-Old Futurities is Monday, February 10, 2014.

All payments for previously nominated yearlings, two-year-olds and three-year-olds must be postmarked and mailed to the ASR office, faxed to 859.259.1628 or e-mailed to [email protected] on or before February 10, 2014.

The ASR Futurities awarded more than $162,000 in 2013 at the Kentucky State Fair World’s Championship Horse Show in Louisville, Kentucky.

KIERSON FARM RIDE-A-THON FOR ST. JUDE CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL

Join Kierson Farm for a Ride-A-Thon trail ride to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital on March 29, 2014.

Bring your horse to Kierson Farm, 107 W. Woodschurch in Flemington, New Jersey and enjoy the Readington Round Mountain Reserve Trail System.

Not a horse owner? No worries, join Kierson for the day and meet the horses and ponies at Kierson Farm.

Entries close March 15th. The first 200 participants will receive a commemorative tote bag.

2014 ASHA YOUTH CONFERENCE EVENTS

The 2014 ASHA Youth Conference is an event you do not want to miss! The ASHA Annual Convention and Youth Conference, held February 13-15, 2015 (the Youth Conference begins on February 14) is in its first year at its new location, the Hilton Lexington/Downtown.

After registration on Friday afternoon, ASHA youth will be treated to a pizza party followed by an evening of fun youth games with AWESOME prizes.

On Saturday morning a grab ‘n go breakfast will be available before the busses head to the Kentucky Roundup at the Alltech Arena. While at the Alltech Arena, all will enjoy the ASHA Academy Awards Luncheon. After the luncheon, the busses will take the youth to Kristen Bagdasarian’s Diamond View Farm in Versailles, home of many World’s Champion American Saddlebreds!

On Saturday evening all the fun of the weekend will culminate with the brand new of this year, separate Youth Gala. Don’t forget about the Silent Auction benefitting ASHA Youth Scholarships, which begins at 6 PM. The Youth Gala will begin at 7:30 where the ASHA Youth Awards will be presented prior to dancing with DJ Dance Traxx.

ASHA congratulates new USEF licensed American Saddlebred judges, Clinton Jury, Cindy Mugnier, Richard Petty, Chelsea Ruxer, and Val “Scooter” Scheurich. All new judges have earned their “r” card.
