ASHA World's Championship Horse Show Judges Committee

The American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) again this year will be providing the World’s Championship Horse Show Manager (Scarlett Mattson) with names from which to hire the annual judging panel. That WCHS Judges Committee is to be made up of (4) board members from the ASHA and (1) board member from the United Professional Horsemen's Association (UPHA). Named to the committee are Jenny Taylor (Chair), Kristen Cater, David Mount, Donna Pettry-Smith and Tammie Conatser (UPHA representative).

A newly formulated selection process was unanimously approved by the ASHA Executive Committee and Board of Directors and part of that process includes each ASHA member having the opportunity to submit (1) name to the committee that they would like to see judge the WCHS. We ask that before you submit a name you check that he or she has a judge's card with a large R issued by USEF for any division they may officiate.

For this year, submissions will be taken through Friday, September 1, 5:00 p.m. EDT as the deadline for ASHA's submission to the WCHS is November 17. Please go to to submit your judge selection.
