ASHA Welcomes New Directors for 2016

The American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) is pleased to announce the election of five new members to its Board of Directors, who will join the Board starting in February of 2016 at the Super Convention, which will host the ASHA annual meeting.

Candi Aversenti, Kristen Cater, and Cheryl Innis were elected to the ASHA Board of Directors for a term of three years, starting in 2016.  Also re-elected were current ASHA board members Holly Nichols and Leslie Rainbolt-Forbes.

ASHA offered its members the opportunity to vote for new Directors either electronically or by the traditional paper ballot during the month of November 2015.  The ballot count was ratified by members of the ASHA Board for accuracy, and approved by the ASHA Executive Committee on December 14, 2015.

Returning members of the 2016 ASHA Board include Bret Day, Leslie Rainbolt-Forbes, Bob Funkhouser, Holly Nichols, David Mount, Tandy Patrick, Susan Shepherd, and Matt Shiflet.  New officers and Executive Committee members for 2016 will be elected by the Board at its February 2016 meeting in Boston, MA held in conjunction with the Super Convention.

The ASHA Board bids a fond farewell to Board Members, Jackie Cline Hale, Chuck Herbert, and Stacey Kipper-Perrelli. The Board sincerely appreciates their service to the breed.
