ASHA Website Update

The American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) IT department would like to announce exciting website updates that have been recently implemented.

The login period is now extended to 4 hours

The Horse Search results now display all information: Pedigree, Offspring (partial listings with “View Complete Offspring” button), and Competition Records. Also, the offspring displays by current foal date first

The Former Name info is moved to the Registry Records Box

The contact information for Current Owner is being displayed. Please note that if a certificate address is not selected for a horse, contact information will not show.

The Official Statement is no longer a pop-up, options available are a PDF download and print friendly version

The Pedigree now has a printer friendly feature

Enhanced Offspring Listings:

Display the dam of the offspring and dam’s sire if looking up a stallion

Display the sire of the offspring if looking up a mare

Links open in a new window so you won’t lose the result page

The offspring’s sire/dam listings are now links and open in a new window so you won’t lose the page

Color indications to the offspring listings are implemented

Look forward to these updates soon:

Enhanced horse search by ownership/breeder

Members Profile Page:

Displays horses if they are under the ownership of an organization, and signature authority is on file for the horses

Add links to horses

Hypothetical Mating Report

Add multimedia to the horses

Give the ability to stables and service owners to manage their listings online

Please note if a member opts not to display their contact information, it will not be displayed when looking up a member. Members can now manage how they want their contact information displayed, and it is instantly updated on the website and in our database. Please let us know if you think that information needs to be displayed and it is not.

Our work is not done. We are making daily improvements to the website and implementing what’s planned for Phase II. We appreciate and thank you for your continuous support.
