The ASHA of NY Futurity proudly offers a rare experience for a hands-on clinic with the master himself, Mr. Jim Aikman.  Jim Aikman has been a leader in the Saddlebred community for decades and is undoubtedly one of the most, if not the most, successful colt men ever. Currently, he spends most of his time promoting his passion for American Saddlebred colts via the wildly successful All American Cup. He has won dozens of futurities and untold amounts of prize money. His technique is tried and true and works every time it’s tried. Jim wants to share his secrets and successes with you. Anyone - owners, breeders, trainers or just fans - is encouraged to take advantage of this clinic. The clinic is appropriate for the amateur or the professional who would like to enhance the very specific skill of presenting the weanling or yearling in hand.

The Aikman Advantage Clinic is specifically designed for colts that are being prepared to show in futurity classes throughout the country. The clinic will be held on Saturday November 4, 2006We would also like to have a Friday evening question/answer session with Jim; please inquire about Friday evening when you register.  If you have already shown your colt, you too can bring your weanling or yearling and get ready for the next season. There will be colts available for the demonstration for those who do not bring their own colts.

Jim will offer those little tips that can take your from 5th place to 1st. Your breeding program, your time, and your money deserve this day of continuing education. The Aikman Advantage Clinic will be an experience you will never forget or regret. Empower yourself to be a winner! Please register today, as space is limited, and join the master Mr. Jim Aikman in his presentation of The Aikman Advantage.

This clinic will be held at the Misty Hills Stables in Troy, NY, centrally located to New York, New England, Pennsylvania and New Jersey from NYS Thruway.  This is fine facility has a heated indoor full-size show ring, seating and attached stabling. This will be the only event at this time so it should be relatively calm and quiet for your baby. Stabling is included in the cost of the clinic! All you have to do is bring your colt. The clinic will provide disinfected stalls, bedding and water buckets - all ready when you arrive.

For those arriving on Friday, there will be an optional dinner with Jim Aikman at the Desmond Hotel starting at 7:30 p.m. There will be a Q & A session during dinner. Advance reservations are required.

Ticket cost: $50 for an individual. Family pricing will be available.
