ASHA Breed Ambassador Program

The American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) is pleased to announce the third annual ASHA Breed Ambassador Award winners.

The ASHA Breed Ambassador Award was designed to recognize those actively promoting the American Saddlebred throughout the year. The ASHA Breed Ambassador Award program recognizes high point winners in 13 regions (this includes the international) in three divisions: Individual Amateur, Barn, and Charter Club, as well as a World Champion and Reserve World Champion in each division. Winners are chosen by high point scores, where points are awarded for various activities that promote the American Saddlebred.

The competition year for this program is January 1-December 21. The World Champion and Reserve World Champion winners will be recognized this year at the ASHA Awards Luncheon at the UPHA Convention in Amelia Island, Florida.

The 2017 winners include:

World Champion-Individual: Sarah Bennett, Kernersville, NC
Reserve World Champion-Individual: Lily Callahan, Harrisburg, MO and Sharon Schubert, Kimball, MN

World Champion-Barn: Jansal Saddlebreds, Mocksville, NC
Reserve World Champion-Barn: Suncoast Stables & Riding Academy, Odessa, FL
