ASHA BOD Voting Experiences High Voter Turnout

The American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) Board of Directors candidate voting for 2015 was higher than experienced in recent years.

5,325 ballots were mailed to eligible voters (2014 ASHA Life, Contributing, Senior, and Charter Club Affiliate members over the age of 18) and of those eligible voters, 20.8% voted. Of the returned votes, 61.4% voted by paper ballot and 38.6% voted online.

The ASHA very much appreciates everyone who contributed to the highest voter turnout experienced in recent years.

The new ASHA Board of Directors are:

•Allen Bosworth—Greenville, SC
•Sandra Currier—Bellville, TX
•Elisabeth Goth—Lebanon, KY
•Donna Pettry-Smith—New Lenox, IL
•Jenny Taylor—Medina, OH
•David Rudder (re-elected)—Lexington, KY
•Kenny Wheeler (re-elected)—Keswick, VA
