ASHA/ASR Virtual Town Hall Registration Now Open

Registration is now available for the Virtual Town Hall with the ASHA and ASR to be held via Zoom on Wednesday, January 27 at 5:00 p.m. ET. You can register for the Town Hall HERE today!

The purpose of the Town Hall is to present details and answer questions for members prior to the ASHA membership vote on the merger between the Registry (American Saddlebred Registry, Inc.) and ASHA. The resulting organization, American Saddlebred Horse and Breeders Association, Inc., will streamline the resources of the finances, operations, staff, and volunteers in the advancement of what always has been a single mission – the promotion and protection of our beloved breed.

The Town Hall panel will include Sandy Currier, ASR President, Ed Glasscock, ASR Attorney, Anna Marie Knipp, Co-Chair Joint Merger Task Force, Marty Schaffel, ASHA President, Chris Schubert, Co-Chair Joint Merger Task Force, Rachel Seifert, Attorney and Joint Task Force Member, and Stephen Sherman, ASHA Attorney. The discussion will be moderated by David Mount, ASHA Executive Director.

ASHA and ASR are aware that members will have questions and concerns around the merger so the Town Hall has been organized to assist with communications and to allow membership to hear directly from the organizational leaders and committee members.
