Morgan/Saddlebred Artwork Consigned To Memorabilia Auction

There will be an important auction on September 28 in Lexington, Kentucky. The auction is held to benefit the Harness Tracks of America Scholarship Fund. One of the premier items in the sale is a 1914 Limited Edition Portfolio of Morgan Horses and American Saddlebreds by the acclaimed George Ford Morris. It contains 54 plates with 268 individual photos and sketches. The American Saddlebred Museum has only seen one copy of this portfolio, and they keep it under lock and key at the museum.
