Announcing the Morgan Stallion Sweeps

The New England Regional Morgan Horse Show and the United Breeders Committee are excited to share the formation of the Morgan Stallion Sweeps. The program offers the chance to breed to a top Morgan stallion just for $25. Purchase of a ticket will earn an entry into a drawing for a stallion service. Each stallion will have his own separate drawing and there is no limit as to how many tickets an individual may purchase.

The Morgan Stallion Sweeps was conceived by the United Breeders Committee, in partnership with the New England Morgan Horse Show, to promote the breeding and showing of the Morgan Horse. The committee is led by Jenny Taylor and is comprised of three members of the United Breeders Committee: Peggy Alderman, Lynn Peeples and Tim Roesink along with three members from the New England Regional Morgan Horse Show: Steven Handy, Amanda Hill and John Lampropoulos.

“The United Breeders Committee, in partnership with the American Saddlebred Horse Association, have a very successful Stallion Sweeps with American Saddlebred stallions,” said Jenny Taylor, chair of the Morgan Stallion Sweeps. “We feel the Morgan Stallion Sweeps drawing is going to be a grand event that will give us the ability to promote breeding not only to existing Morgan breeders but also reach out to new potential breeders.”

All proceeds will go toward the promotion of the stallions and will support a two-year-old performance class at the 2019 New England Regional Morgan Horse Show. The stallion line up and program will be launched at the 2018 New England Morgan Horse Show on Thursday, July 26th with a grand unveiling of the stallion lineup and a party. The drawing will be held February 12th and winners will be announced in conjunction with the 2019 NEMHA/UPHA Winter Weekend. You need not to be present to win, all federal and state laws apply.
