AMHA Offers Grants to Morgan Competitions

Each year, AMHA offers financially challenged USEF Morgan competitions money from the net of the AMHA/WMF Stallion Service Auction. The minimum grant per show is $1,000. Grant monies for not-for-profit organizations may be used for EMTs, veterinarians, stewards, insurance, emergency officials, and natural disasters. The monies may not be used for trophies, awards, class sponsorships, and more. All payments made under this grant program will be reported to the Internal Revenue Service and are subject to Federal ad State income tax. Since no taxes are withheld, competitions may have a tax liability at the time of filing. The deadline for this annual program has been extended to March 1.
