American Saddlebred Reference Directory Enhanced Pages Now Online

Lexington, Kentucky – The American Saddlebred Reference Directory Enhanced web pages for 2006 are now online with videos, additional photographs, pedigrees and other features.

The enhanced pages can be viewed by clicking here, or by going to the following web address: http://www.asha.net/members/stallions.php

ASHA Executive Secretary Alan F. Balch said he believes everyone will benefit from the enhanced pages.

“This is a fantastic tool for our breeders to have all of this information available on their computer screen.  They can view pedigrees, conformation photographs, videos showing the motion of the stallion,” Balch said.  “Others will simply enjoy the ability to watch some of these great stallions in action.”

Membership is not required to view the information on these pages.

United States Postal Service mail delivery of the 2006 American Saddlebred Reference Directory and Membership Directory commenced January 18.

Members are encouraged to look at the new features in this year’s directory including the new leading sire lists that rank American Saddlebred stallions by a number of categories in various time periods.

“For the first time, we have linked pedigrees to performance with these rankings,” Balch said.  “These are objective records that have been in our extensive database that we are making available to the public for the first time.  I hope our members find these rankings just as interesting as we do.”

These rankings will be posted online and will be published in various editions of American Saddlebred magazine.
