American Saddlebred Museum Hires Librarian



The American Saddlebred Museum is pleased to announce the hiring of Sarah Gaddy as a part-time Librarian.  Ms. Gaddy was hired to complete a grant project funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Sarah is a current student at the University of Kentucky, graduating in May of 2022 with a Masters in Library and Information Sciences. She has experience in a number of libraries including the Keeneland Library.   

As Librarian, she will inventory, catalog and organize the Museum’s collection of over 2,600 books, magazines, and videos related to the American Saddlebred. Upon completion, this 16-month project will make the American Saddlebred Museum’s Library collection available to the public, equine scholars, and individuals researching equine or family history. Ms. Gaddy will start work January 4, 2022.
