AHHSF Establishes Sallie B. Wheeler Memorial

Posted October 11, 2001 The American Hackney Horse Society Foundation has established the Sallie B. Wheeler Memorial in honor of the long-time Hackney owner/exhibitor. Since 1994 Sallie Wheeler served on the Board of Directors of the AHHSF. Her presence became a trademark of excellence in the showring and through the results of her generosity many activities such as the inclusion of the Hackney breed were achieved in the Olympics. Showing horses and ponies proved to be her love and graciousness remained paramount throughout her life.
With this memorial the AHHSF wishes to remember Sallie Wheeler for her tremendous sportsmanship, and the achievements she made in the showring that will remain unequalled. Her great friendship to the Hackney breed will never be forgotten. Contributions to the Sallie B.
