AHHS Hosts Fundraising Gala

In conjunction with the 2004 UPHA National Convention to be held in Indianapolis, Ind., in January, the American Hackney Horse Society (AHHS) will host a gala on Thursday night of the convention. The theme will be “An Evening In The Crossroads Of America” with entertainment provided by Dr. Carl Hurley. Everyone is invited to join in on the festivities which will be highlighted by an auction which will help fund many of the organization’s projects.

Josh Greer will again head the auction and fund raising activities. “Some of this year’s auction items included all inclusive getaways to Cancun, Mexico; Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; a Bahama’s cruise aboard Carnival’s Fantasy ship; Walsh Signature Series Road Pony Harness from Paul Treiber and the Walsh Company; as well as riding lessons from top instructors such as Lillian Shively, Julie McConnell and Jo Cornell,” said Greer.

Anyone wishing to help with the gala or needing information on the auction items please contact Josh Greer at [email protected].
