AHHS Foundation Establishes Scholarship

The American Hackney Horse Society Foundation has announced that an educational scholarship has been established to be awarded annually to an incoming freshman college student. This educational scholarship in the amount of $2500.00 will be awarded to the selected student based on financial need, academic success and a commitment to the Hackney industry.
The scholarship is funded by the Al Haugen Memorial established with the AHHSF in 2000 in memory of long-time Hackney owner and exhibitor Al Haugen. This scholarship will be awarded each year by a selection committee appointed by the AHHSF.

All applications and necessary information must be received by Apr. 30 of the year in which the applicant will be an incoming college student.
