Morgan Weanling Gala 2018

Plans are underway for the 10th edition of the Morgan Weanling Gala to be held in 2018. In the years since the Morgan Weanling Gala (MWG) was launched, it has become a much-anticipated event each year. This year nearly 5,000 people downloaded the Order of Go posted the day of the event and nearly 1,000 people watch the Richfield Video of the full class posted on the MWG Facebook Page.

The program individually promotes each of the Nominated Stallions on both the MWG Facebook Page and website. Each Facebook cycle averaged over 1,500 ‘click and view’ for each of these nominated Stallions.

All Current Year Get of each of the Nominated Stallions are also eligible for the prestigious Saddle Horse Report Performance Incentive Program for the first get to win a World’s Championship in a performance division.

Nominations are now being accepted for the Class of 2015, 2016 and 2017 Saddle Horse Report Performance Incentive Program. The Class of 2015 award rolled into their 3-year-old year (2018) and with that opportunities to win expand to the saddle divisions as well as harness divisions. The nomination fee is $475.

The current nomination fee for the Class of 2016 is $175, while the Class of 2017 is $25 (if shown in Weanling Gala) and $125 (if not shown in Weanling Gala). The prices are for those nominated before December 31, 2017. There is a price increase for those nominated after January 1, 2018.
