Des Moines Springfest announces location

The Des Moines Springfest Horse Show is scheduled for April 26 – 29, 2018. We are pleased to announce the show will be held in the beautiful, state of the art Jacobson Arena at the Iowa State Fairground, Des Moines, IA. This location had been in jeopardy earlier due to issues with moving footing into the Jacobson. Several groups raised additional funds to make this possible and everyone’s support would be sincerely appreciated this year! Dale Arnston, Mokena, IL, will judge a full schedule of performance and equitation classes, UPHA Classics, qualifiers and an Academy session.
Springfest is famous for its outstanding line up of hospitality events including morning pastries and coffee, lunches and evening events. Join in as we play “Pony Pitch” to raise money for Blank Children’s Hospital. Winning pitch shares the jackpot with Blank! Returning this year is our Trainer’s Incentive; each trainer’s name is entered in a drawing for a $100 cash prize each session of the horse show! Don’t forget your stable dogs and family pets for our pet-in-costume class with prizes for all participants.
