AMHECT/WMF Stallion Service Auction Raises Over $135,000

The 2023 World Morgan Futurity Stallion Service Auction in partnership with the American Morgan Horse Educational Charitable Trust ended as one of the all-time highest earning auctions since it began. Over $135,000 was generated for the betterment of the Morgan breed. Thanks to the generous stallion owners and the successful bidders who participated in this program, more money will be used for breed promotion as well as more money will be given back to the stallion owners, winning foals, and the handlers of those winners.
This year, the Top 5 stallions in the auction will have their resulting get from the service sold eligible to win up to 2x the Auction Bonus. In addition, any World Champion Stallion in the Top 5 will be eligible for an additional multiplier bringing the possible bonus up to $40,000! This year’s top 5 stallions, winning bid and bidder were: Dragonsmeade Axios $5,050 (Kevin Eagen), Jus’ Sayin’ $4,700 (Drake Symbolik), Merriehill After Hours GCH $4,625 (David Yoder), Wingman $4,425 (William Haines), and Dragonsmeade Griffin $3,425 (Cathleen Maher).
