2023 California Futurity Horse Show Canceled but 2024 Will Return to South Point

The 78th Annual California Saddle Horse Breeders Association Futurity Horse Show, scheduled for October 26-28, 2023 at Las Vegas Horseman’s Park has been canceled. This year’s show unfortunately fell victim to a forced change of venue when their dates were not available at South Point.
Although this year’s show will not happen, dates at the popular South Point Hotel and Casino have been secured for 2024. South Point, just a short distance from the famous Las Vegas strip, offers upscale dining, entertainment and equine facilities that make showing a horse there a unique experience. Once you park your car, you never have to step outside again until you are on your way home. Exhibitors are urged to mark their calendars for October 10-12, 2024.
From the time the show began 77 years ago, first in Pomona, California then at South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, the show has been a popular Fall event and brought out the best performance and futurity entries the West Coast had to offer. Many a champion has proudly worn the tricolor with the California Saddle Horse Breeders Association Futurity Horse Show logo.
