2020 UPHA Challenge Cup Finals Qualifications Amended



The UPHA Executive Board has received a Presidential Modification from the United States Equestrian Federation to amend the qualification requirements for the 2020 UPHA Challenge Cup Finals. Effective immediately, for the 2020 UPHA Adult, Breed, Pleasure and “Open” Challenge Cup National Finals the eligibility requirement of placing first through fourth in an official qualifying class has been eliminated. 

Amended qualification requirements for the 2020 UPHA Adult, Breed, Pleasure and Open Challenge Cup National Finals will now be UPHA Associate or Junior members having competed in any saddle seat equitation class beginning December 1, 2018 through November 1, 2020 are eligible to compete in the 2020 National Finals. Qualification requirements, other than membership, for the 2020 UPHA Challenge Cup Walk/Trot National Final shall be suspended.

Please refer to each individual competition hosting each of the respective finals regarding closing date of entries.

July 16-25, 2020, Youth & Mid-Summer National Arabian & Half Arabian Championship Horse Show, Oklahoma City, OK

UPHA Adult Challenge Cup National Final
July 6-11, 2020, Lexington Junior League Charity Horse Show, Lexington, KY

UPHA National Show Horse Challenge Cup National Finals
September 10-12, 2020, NSHR National Championship Finals, Springfield, IL

UPHA Pleasure Challenge Cup National Finals
September 9-12, 2020, All American Horse Classic, Indianapolis, IN

UPHA Morgan Challenge Cup National Finals
October 10-17, 2020, Grand National & World Championship Morgan Horse Show, Oklahoma City, OK

UPHA Junior Challenge Cup, UPHA Senior Challenge Cup National Finals and UPHA 10 & Under Walk/Trot National Final
November 9-14, 2020, UPHA American Royal National Championship, Kansas City, MO

Competitions are encouraged to offer UPHA Challenge Cup qualifying classes in order for riders to complete pattern work in a competition setting. If you would like to add a qualifying class to your competition, please complete and return the application below.
