World’s Championship Horse Show Webcast



Lexington, Ky. ­– As it has the past two years, the American Saddlebred Horse Association will Webcast the Kentucky State Fair World’s Championship Horse Show. A streaming video feed, live from Freedom Hall in Louisville, will be available for purchase on the ASHA Web site, www.saddlebred.com. The Webcast will begin with the opening night performances on Sunday, August 19 and continue each session through Saturday night’s grand championships. Log on to www.saddlebred.com now to purchase a license to view the Webcast.    

 

Plans to enhance the Webcast this year include a live video feed of the paddock, viewable free of charge on the Association’s homepage. Also being offered, a means to test a computer’s ability to receive the Webcast. Prior to purchasing a license, use this function to determine whether or not your computer meets the system requirements necessary to receive the Webcast. The Webcast will become available before the start of each day’s first session. The fee to view the Webcast Sunday through Thursday is $10 per day/computer and $15 per day/computer for Friday and Saturday. The license purchased to view the Webcast is exclusive to each computer on which it is purchased. A 20% discount is available to ASHA members, resulting in fees of $8 per day/computer M-Th, $12 per day/computer F-Sat. Payment will be accepted online using a credit or debit card. A broadband, DSL or cable modem Internet connection is required to view the Webcast. A dial-up Internet connection is not sufficient.
