TSE/Tattersalls Fall Sale Live Video Feed to be Offered

Lexington, Ky. – The TSE/Tattersalls Fall Sale will be broadcast over the Internet on the American Saddlebred Horse Association Web site, www.saddlebred.com. The Saddlebred sale, as conducted by Teater Saddlebred Enterprises, Inc., is Thursday through Saturday, November 1-3, 2007. As it has done in the past for the 2006 Fall Sale and 2007 Spring Sale, ASHA will once again provide a live, streaming video feed of each day of this fall’s sale in its entirety. The Webcast will allow viewers to see the sale of each horse as it is presented and hear the auctioneer’s call as well as see the hip number and price. The 2007 TSE/Tattersalls Fall Sale Catalog is available to download at http://www.tsetattersalls.com/.

The opportunity to purchase a subscription to view the Webcast will soon be available on the ASHA homepage, www.saddlebred.com. Each day’s sale is scheduled to commence at 10 a.m. ET. The fee to view the Webcast is $15 per day/computer, meaning the license purchased to view the Webcast is exclusive to each computer on which it is purchased. A 20% discount is available to ASHA members, resulting in a price of $12 per day/computer. Payment will be accepted online using a credit or debit card. One-, two- and three-day subscriptions will be available.

Viewers’ Internet connection should be broadband, DSL or cable modem for optimum quality. A dial-up Internet connection is not sufficient. Once the subscriptions to view the Webcast become available, those interested in purchasing should go to the ASHA Web site, www.saddlebred.com, and follow the instructions provided. Each day of the sale, at midnight ET, the current day's license to view the Webcast will expire and a new license must be purchased for the following day's Webcast of the sale, unless a purchase to view more than one day or the entire sale has been made. A link will be provided to a “help” page to assist subscribers in viewing the Webcast.

Additionally, DVDs of the 2007 TSE/Tattersalls Fall Sale will be available for purchase following the sale. To order a DVD or for more information, including advertising opportunities during the Webcast, contact Will Wood at w.wood@asha.net or at (859) 259-2742 extension 347.
