FULTON, MO –The Sho-Me Horse Show Circuit Round-up Show will be held Sept. 29 at William Woods University, starting at 10 a.m. The annual event draws a large crowd, with usually 50-70 horses and around 250 entries.
William Woods University equestrian students will participate in the show, which is open to the public.
This is the last point show for the Sho-Me Circuit year and double points will be awarded.
Almost every breed will be featured, according to Jennie Petterson, WWU clinical instructor of equestrian science, but the majority will be all-around and stock horses. The circuit also hosts a kick-off show at the campus as well. The event is a fundraiser for the Western Club, a group of equestrian students on campus.
Entry fees are $5 per class plus a $3 office charge. For more information, contact Jennie Petterson at (573) 592-1102 or jennie.petterson@williamwods.edu.
