Matton To Judge UPHA 14 Spring Premiere

Kent Moeller, manager of the UPHA 14 Spring Premiere, announced that Scott Matton has stepped in to replace James Nichols as the Saddlebred/Hackney/Equitation judge at the upcoming April show. Nichols had to step down due to family health issues that will require his attention at that time. Matton will join Terry Jones Brennan on the panel as she is judging the Morgan and Friesian divisions as well as Morgan equitation and miscellaneous classes.

The Spring Premiere will be held April 21-24 at the Eastern States Exposition Center in W. Springfield, Mass. Bill Beckley and Cindy Mugnier once again co-chair the event that attracts top Saddlebred, Morgans, Hackneys and Friesians from throughout the Northeast. Other officials include Mark Farrar as announcer, Billy Whitley as ringmaster, Bob Moseder as photographer and Jason Lawrence as technical coordinator.

For a prize list contact show secretary Linda Burke at lburke1177@yahoo.com or for additional information show manager Kent Moeller at (804) 363-3085.
