First Round of Judges Announced for 2012 Morgan Grand National

The Grand National & World Championship Morgan Horse Show® is pleased to announce tentative agreements with the following eight judges for 2012:

John Wich of Harshaw, WI

Richard Wright of McHenry, IL

Classic/Park/Pleasure

Missy Hanover of San Juan Capistrano, CA

Shirley O’Gorman of Sheboygan Falls, WI

Phil Price of Bellbrook, OH 

Jay Wood of Plato, MN

The entire slate of judges will be announced soon. All eyes in the Morgan world will once again focus on Oklahoma City in October of 2012 as the city showcases some of the best athletes of America’s first breed.

Competition begins Saturday, October 6th with three shows daily through Saturday, October 13th. Show times will be at 9:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. each day.

    The American Saddlebred Horse and Breeders Association (ASHBA) announced today it will move its young horse prize programs—the National Futurity, National Amateur Futurity, Four-Year-Old Sweepstakes, and Breeders Challenge—to Indianapolis for 2024 in conjunction with the All American Horse Classic (AAHC) the second week of September.
