Eddy Leidenheimer Arrangements Announced



Eddy Leidenheimer of Dreamview Farm, Danville, Ky., passed away Saturday, June 23, after a long, valiant battle with leukemia.

 

A memorial service is scheduled at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at Hodge Lake, 6 miles from Kalarama Farm, Springfield, KY. The service will be followed by the annual 4th of July party. Eddy loved this party.

The Eddy Leidenheimer Foundation for Chromosome and Leukemia Research is being established. A scholarship is also being set up in his name. A memorial and kick-off for the Eddy Leidenheimer Foundation for Leukemia and Chromosome Research after the Thursday evening performance at the Lexington Junior League Horse Show. Thursday is the junior horse night, Eddy's favorite. More information will be available at the show.

Two memorial trophies are also being planned, one at the ASAC Horse Show and one at the Kentucky State Fair’s World’s Championship Horse Show.

Take I-75 north.
Take the
US 25/US 150 exit #59 toward Mt Vernon/Livingston.
Turn left onto US 150 W/US 25 N. Continue to follow US 150 W, through Crab Orchard, Broadhead, Stanford. Stay straight to go onto US 150 BYP W/S Danville BYP, Go thru Perryville. Stay on US 150.
Turn left onto
HWY #2758 (Simmstown Rd.). Go 2.2 miles and turn right onto Hodge Lane (gravel road - sign on right). Follow Hodge Lane to Hodge Lake.

From Harrodsburg:
Take 127 to
Danville.
Turn right onto Hwy 150 W (at McDonald's) go thru Perryville. Stay on 150 W.
Turn left onto #2758 (
Simmstown Rd.). Go 2.2 miles and turn right onto Hodge Lane (gravel road - sign on right). Follow Hodge Lane to Hodge Lake.

From
Lexington:
Take Martha Layne Collins Blue Grass Pkwy towards Lawrenceburg/Elizabethtown.
Take the Ky 555 exit (exit 42) toward
Springfield.
Turn left onto 150 bypass toward Perryville/Danville. Go 4.4 miles.
Turn right onto Hwy 2758/Simmstown Rd. Go 2.2 miles and turn right onto
Hodge Lane (gravel road - sign on right). Follow Hodge Lane to Hodge Lake.

From
Louisville:
Take I 65 south.
Take the Ky 245 exit (exit 112) toward Clermont/Bardstown. Merge onto Ky 245 toward Clermont/Bardstown.
Turn left onto US 150E. AT THE DEAD END*** BE CAREFUL HERE BECAUSE YOU WILL CROSS OVER 150 BEFORE YOU
GET TO THE DEAD END. DO NOT TURN LEFT ONTO 150 UNTIL YOU GET TO THE DEAD END (AT WALMART)
Go thru Springfield, Turn right onto 150 bypass go about 3 miles to hwy 2758, turn right onto 2758. Go 2.2 miles and turn right onto
Hodge Lane (gravel road - sign on right). Follow Hodge Lane to Hodge Lake.


From Shelbyville:
Follow US 60 W/Ky 55 W
Turn left onto Ky 1555/ KY 55. Stay straight to go onto KY 55/Ky 44/ Railroad St.
Turn right onto Ky 44/Ky 55/Main
St.
Turn left onto Ky 55/Jefferson
St. Continue to follow US 150 E/KY 152 E. Thru Springfield.
Turn right onto Perryville Rd/US 150. Continue to follow US 150. About 3 miles. To Hwy 2758/Simmstown Rd. Turn right onto 2758/Simmstown Rd. Go 2.2 miles and turn right onto
Hodge Lane (gravel road - sign on right). Follow Hodge Lane to Hodge Lake.
