ASHAV Additions and Changes
Thursday, September 13, 2007
Show manager Kent Moeller announced a few additions and changes for the upcoming ASHAV Horse Show in Lexington, Virginia. Annalize van der Walt will join Gene van der Walt and Scott Matton on the three-judge panel in the pony and roadster divisions. David Cater will judge the Saddlebred and equitation sections with Matton and Gene van der Walt.
Moeller also said four pony classes have been added to the sessions. Amateur Harness Pony and Amateur Hackney Pony classes will now be offered. Previously, only an open class and championship were offered in the long tail and cob-tail sections. Catching on in different parts of the country, a Road Pony To Wagon class has also been added.
Lastly, ASHAV has added an AHHS Hackney/Harness Pony Medallion for the junior exhibitor pony exhibitors. They may show a long-tail or short tail in this Medallion.
