ARHPA Presents “A Road Horse Clinic” with Raymond Shively



 

The American Road Horse and Pony Association (ARHPA) is proud to present “A Road Horse Clinic” by Raymond Shively, DeLovely Farms. The clinic is being held March 23-24 at Blackpointe Equestrian Center, 7408 E. Tryon Road, Richmond, IL (the former Royal Scot Stables), (847) 363-8490.

 

The clinic is co-hosted by Blackpointe Equestrian Center and Lance Hayes Stables. The cost is $175 with proceeds going to ARHPA classes.

The schedule is as follows:

 

Friday evening – dinner with Raymond Shively

 

Saturday – 9:00 a.m. - Trainers Session

Bits and Bridles

Shoeing

 

Lunch – 12:00 noon

 

Saturday – 1:00 p.m. – Riders and Drivers Session

Under Saddle

Hitching your horse

Maneuvering and Positioning

Passing

Conformation

 

Saturday evening – 6:00 p.m. - Dinner
