Des Moines Springfest is pleased to announce that Steve Allred, Winston-Salem, N.C., has been selected as our 2011 judge. The show is scheduled for April 28 - May 1, 2011 and will be held in the brand new Jacobson Exhibition Center at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. Mr. Allred will judge a full slate of classes including Performance, Equitation, Saddle & Bridle and UPHA qualifiers and Academy classes.

New this year will be Park Pleasure - Amateur classes, several training classes for young horses and Open western Pleasure. Exhibitors will again enjoy daily Hospitality events.

Springfest benefits Blank Children's Hospital with funds targeted toward drug affected babies and children. We will again support Blank with our "Pony Pitch" during each evening session. Springfest has contributed nearly $75,000 toward these programs.

Premium Books will be available for download at www.horseshowcalendar.com by March 1st and will also be mailed at that time.
