The Devon Horse Show has announced that the Walter Mooney Trust Fund Grant has provided additional funds for the Three-Gaited Division.

Once again, $5,000 will be awarded in both the Three-Gaited Amateur and Three-Gaited Open Stakes at the Horse Show, with no entry fees payable. All qualifying classes of the Three-Gaited Division now offer $500 each in prize money. The Junior Exhibitor Stake will award $1000 in prize money.

The Country Fair and Horse show dates are Thursday, May 26, through Sunday, June 5, 2011. Saddlebred and Pony classes are scheduled for Wednesday, June 1, through Saturday, June 4, judged by Bill Waller of Tennessee. Prize lists will be mailed by the end of February.

Devon is the oldest and largest outdoor multi-breed competition in the United States. It is internationally recognized and USEF-A rated. While it draws top competitors from around the world, the show continues to reflect the local traditions and lifestyles of the Philadelphia Main Line. The crowds cheer Saddlebreds and Ponies with enthusiasm. In 2010, Devon became just the fourth American horse show to be honored with the designation as a USEF Heritage Competition.
