James L. Nichols will judge the 66th Annual California Futurity Horse Show at South Point in Las Vegas, Nevada. Show dates are October 22nd through 24th, 2010.
South Point is a unique facility, a world-class equestrian center connected to a first-class hotel/casino resort. The equestrian venue includes the arena,
warm-up area, and stabling, all indoors and completely climate-controlled. The hotel/casino has everything – spacious rooms, gaming, nine restaurants, showroom, spa, and more. It is all conveniently located at the south end of Las Vegas, away from the congestion of the "Strip" but close enough for exhibitors to enjoy the full Las Vegas experience. The show will include a full range of American Saddlebred, Open and Amateur Futurity, Hackney Pony, Equitation and Open classes. Morgan classes have also been added.
The tentative schedule for the three-day show is one daily performance beginning at 11:00 AM. No evening performances are planned. More information will be available soon at www.californiasaddlebred.com.
The premium book will be mailed to an expanded list in July. Limited advertising space is available.
Vendors are welcome at the show. Custom signage on the overhead scoreboard is also available.
