Mid-States Horse & Pony Show moves to new location for 2017



The Mid-States Horse & Pony Show is pleased to announce their new location for 2017 will be at the Iowa Equestrian Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The dates are July 14-16, 2017 with entries closing July 1st but Post Entries are accepted. UPHA Pony Classics will be offered this year as well as Open Pleasure Driving Stake and 48” & Under classes. Classes include Saddlebred, Hackney, Morgan, and part- Arabian, as well as OTAB. The Mid-America Hackney Association continues to be the sponsor of the show and points count towards Iowa Horseman’s Association, Illinois Horse & Pony Breeder’s Association and the Tri-State Horsemen’s Association.

The judge for this year is Danette Musselman of Morton, Illinois. Show managers are Sue and Bob Kinsinger with Sue as Show Secretary as well. Emma Utoft will be the official Horse Show photographer. Premium Books are available online at HorseShowCalendar.com or www.iowaequestrian.com. There’s great hospitality throughout the show including a Pizza Party on Friday and an Exhibitor’s Party on Saturday night. The Iowa Horseman Hall Of Fame will be announced Friday afternoon.
