Morgan Masterpiece Set For July
Tuesday, February 14, 2017
July 13-15, 2017 will mark the dates of the 19th annual Morgan Masterpiece Horse Show. Held at the Sunnyview Expo Center in Oshkosh, WI, Morgan Masterpiece features competition that is both strong and friendly. The atmosphere creates a place for youth to get together for some fun, and the show grounds is inviting with a good warm-up arena and a show arena where horses put on exceptional performances.
It is a show that all began with a group of Wisconsin owners, exhibitors and trainers who felt a Class A Morgan show was needed in the state of Wisconsin.
It is a show, like many, that keeps the breed alive and develops great friendships and memories. The show benefits the Rawhide Boys, a charity that was developed by the Green Bay Quarterback, Bart Starr. The show has given over $44,000 to this charity and the show is grateful that the boys come and help at the show with the gate, presentation of ribbons and clean up.
The show offers all imaginable qualifiers for the Morgan Grand National and in all divisions and age groups. Friday night features the always-exciting Yearling Sweepstakes and bidding on the Calcutta related to that class. The finale is the $750 Costume Class which is very competitive and boasts an average of 12 entries with the competition displaying incredible imagination and artistic talents. Presently, the Morgan Masterpiece website is experiencing a glitch, so if anyone has questions please e-mail [email protected] or call Jackie Sweeney at 608-437-5530.
