Two Open House Events Set for the Northeast - Rodney Hicks Stables and Revelation Farms

The public is invited to enjoy the fall in the beautiful Berkshires of Western Massachusetts to celebrate the Hackney breed and the Berkshire Carousel. The day (Saturday, October 22) will begin with an Open House at Rodney Hicks Stables to demonstrate the breed and offer some tips on driving and presentation. Contact Rodney for further information at (413) 281-2658.

Following the live presentation attendees will visit the newly opened Berkshire Carousel to see “The Aristocrat,” the Hackney carousel horse. A cocktail hour at Methuselah Bar and Lounge, Pittsfield, Massachusetts’s newest hot spot and winner of the Berkshire Trendsetter award, will wrap up the day devoted to the Hackney.

The Best Western Plus Berkshire Hills Inn & Suites will offer a special rate of $139.49 for the Northeastern Hackney block. Call 413-442-8714 for reservations.

Also on the evening of Saturday, October 22, the Grom family of Revelation Farms, Frenchtown, NJ will open the doors to their lovely facility, beginning at 5:00 p.m. With new trainer Bob Phillips, the Groms will showcase a presentation of horses from their winter sales list as well as several homebred prospects with impeccable bloodlines.

Following the presentation of horses, dinner and cocktails will be served in addition to a lot of fun. RSVP to [email protected].
