Big D Charity Horse Show Is Pleased To Announce Its New Home

Ft. Worth, Texas - The Big D Board of Directors was informed this spring that Las Colinas Equestrian Center in Irving, Texas, had been sold to developers and would no longer be used as a horse show facility.  Big D was going to have to find not only a new but larger home after adding Morgans to the schedule in 2015.  The horse show is moving to the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Ft. Worth and into the Will Rogers Coliseum.  This coliseum has an arena that measures 150’ by 250’, over 700 stalls and a large warm-up ring all under one roof.  It is located in the cultural district of Ft. Worth and is close to the historic Ft. Worth Stockyard with plenty of hotels and restaurants close by.  The dates for 2016 will be May 5-8 and Peter Fenton will return as horse show manager.  Saddlebreds, Morgans and Rocky Mountain horses will once again be included in the schedule.  More details will be posted to their Facebook page and website www.bigdhorseshow.com this fall.
