WHO – Anyone 17 & under who wants to get together with other horse loving kids, have fun & learn what the judge is looking for.
WHAT – JUNIOR JUDGING at the Rock Creek Horse Show, THURSDAY NIGHT, June 4. Ribbons & caps will be awarded to winners in 13 & under & 14 thru 17. (The Rock Creek Horse Show, Louisville, KY is June 2 - 6.)
WHEN – On THURSDAY NIGHT meet the judge, Robert Gardiner. Join Judge Gardiner at 5:30 in the lounge next to the horse show office & he will tell you what he looks for in different classes & answer your questions.
WHY – To get to know other horse crazy kids & to find out what judges look for so you & your horse can do better in the show ring.
WHERE – The lounge next to the horse show office at 5:30 for a meet & greet with the judge. When the show starts the Jr. Judges will have reserved box seats so look for two boxes on the back side of the ring with Junior Judging signs on them. Just come on over & have a seat. You can sign up either in the lounge or later in the box seats.
More fun – After you have judged your four designated classes you can enjoy the rest of the show from your free box seat, check out the concessions, visit with your friends & go to the new PHOTO BOOTH. Here they will have all kinds of ole timey & funny stuff to put on to have your pictures taken in. SURE BEATS A SELFIE! Four pictures for $5 & all the money goes to help the show.
