Des Moines Springfest Hires Judge

Des Moines Springfest is pleased to announce Mr. Brian Chappell, Perryville, Ky as the 2015 show judge.  Springfest is scheduled for April 23 - 26, 2015 and will be held in the beautiful Jacobson Arena at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, Des Moines, Iowa.

Chappell will judge a full spectrum of Saddlebred, Hackney Pony, Open Pleasure and Equitation classes and qualifiers, as well as an Academy session, UPHA Exceptional Challenge Cup classes and Saddle and Bridle qualifiers.

New this year is an Open Pleasure Driving class for the Junior horse.  The show also just added the new UPHA Exceptional Challenge Cup Walk and Trot with Assistance class.   It will follow the UPHA Exceptional Challenge Cup Walk and Trot class on Saturday morning. The Academy session will be held during the Saturday morning session with each Championship class to directly follow it's qualifier. It was previously held both Saturday and Sunday mornings.  Sunday morning our regular Championship session will now begin at 10 AM allowing an earlier departure for exhibitors and trainers following the show.

Des Moines Springfest is famous for daily hospitality events.  You will enjoy morning coffee and pastries, lunches and evening parties.  For a complete schedule of classes, events and downloadable forms please visit www.desmoinesspringfest.com and follow them on Facebook.  Premium Books are being mailed the first week of March.
